"Smocked" children are smart children

February 12, 2016

My mother (Beth) and I started The Bubble Bee together. Growing up, my mother taught me so much through such simple lessons. As a Montessori preschool teacher, she has always had the ability to teach great lessons through small details. When we design our smocked clothes at The Bubble Bee, often our sources of inspiration are from scripture, God’s beautiful creation and heirlooms from our own childhood, all of which teach lessons. In a world that is so busy, try slowing down and teaching your children something today. Our smocked daffodil dress is a wonderful example of a conversation starter you can have with your kids. Lessons may include a talk about flowers, who made flowers, what animals like flowers and of course mommy's favorite flower (for Valentine's Day...hint, hint).

Blessings,

Katherine
